More than a consultancy.
We are a sensory partner.
We’re a team of sensory scientists, consumer researchers, and trainers who share one obsession: understanding how products are actually experienced — and helping brands use that understanding to build things people love.
Curious by nature. Rigorous by training.
Sencore was founded on a conviction that sensory science deserves a bigger seat at the product table. For too long, it’s lived in the lab — respected, but separated from the decisions that actually shape what reaches a consumer’s hands.
We do things differently. Our work sits at the intersection of science and strategy, methodology and market reality. We run the panels, design the studies, and analyse the data — but we never stop at data. Every project ends with something a product team can act on.
That mindset attracts a particular kind of scientist: people who are genuinely fascinated by human perception, who love the craft of a well-run panel, and who care as much about the business outcome as the statistical one. That’s the team you work with when you work with us.
Every brand comes to us with a different question. Our approach is built to handle that.
We start with the real question.
Briefs are rarely the whole story. Before we design a study, we dig into what you actually need to know — and just as importantly, what decision the answer needs to support. A study that produces elegant data but doesn’t change a decision is a study we won’t run.
We tailor, we don't template.
No two products are the same, so no two methodologies should be either. We choose and adapt our approach — descriptive analysis, discrimination testing, consumer research, or a hybrid — based on your product, your stage, and your goal. Never based on what’s easiest for us.
We translate science into action.
A panel’s findings are only as valuable as what’s done with them. Our reports are written for humans, not archives — clear, prioritised, and framed around the decisions in front of you. You’ll know what to do Monday morning, not just what the data says.
What we believe.
Rigour without rigidity
Good science doesn’t have to be slow, defensive, or buried in caveats. We hold our methods to a high standard and our communication to an even higher one.
Honesty over optimism.
If your product has a sensory problem, we’ll tell you. If a study won’t answer your question, we’ll say so before we run it. We’d rather lose a project than deliver one we don’t believe in.
Capability, not dependency.
The best outcome of working with us is that you eventually need us less. We teach as we go, and we’re proud when clients bring work in-house because of what they learned from us.
Every project matters.
Whether you’re a multinational or a first-product founder, the work gets the same attention, the same senior input, and the same standard of care.

1
Consumer Research
Understand how people actually experience your product. From early-stage concept exploration to validating reformulations, we uncover the human truths behind what consumers choose, reject, and return to.
2
Sensory Science
Measure what the senses notice — precisely. Using trained panels and rigorous methodology, we map the sensory profile of your product and benchmark it against competitors, previous batches, or the experience you’re aiming for.
3
Training
Build sensory expertise inside your own team. Whether you need an internal panel for quality control or specialised courses for your R&D team, we help you develop sensory capability that sticks.
Let’s talk about what you’re working on.
The best first step is a conversation — no brief required, no obligation attached. Tell us what you’re building, reformulating, or trying to understand, and we’ll tell you honestly whether and how we can help.
